| American Express Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card echo $br; ?> echo $logo_cl; ?>=$logo_fly;?> $crd_pid=2152; ?> |
| The Delta SkyMiles Gold Credit Card, issued by American Express, is designed for those who frequently travel using Delta Air Lines. Although the annual fee of $95 is not an attractive feature, it is reduced to $40 for those who already have an American Express Charge Card. The standard APR for purchases is about average for an airline reward card, though not ideal for those who plan to carry a revolving balance. There is also an introductory rate of 9.99% offered for balances transferred during the time of application, which applies for the life of the loan. Card is currently unavailable to residents of Iowa and Puerto Rico. | |
| First PREMIER® Bank Centennial Gold MasterCard®/Visa $crd_pid=3594; ?> |
There are various fees associated with this card including the following which will be billed to the first statement: an annual fee of $48, an account set-up fee of $29, a program fee of $95, and a monthly participation fee of $6. These types of fees are common for cards designed for poor or limited credit and will reduce the cardholder`s available credit until they are paid. By making timely payments and keeping the card balance below the limit, cardholders may rebuild their credit. Those who become active members of the Centennial Gold MasterCard® will be glad to know that transactions will be reported each month. The following credit cards may be able to help build, rebuild or re-establish your credit if you make on-time payments with all of your creditors and maintain your account balances below the credit limits. | |
| Citibank Citi® Driver's Edge® Card for College Students echo $br; ?> echo $logo_cash;?> $crd_pid=2662; ?> |
| This card offers no annual fee and a 0% introductory rate that applies to all transactions for six months (which is a rare benefit). Although it has a reasonable interest rate for a student card, there is a minimum cap of 20.24% for cash advances. So no matter how low the Prime Rate falls (the APR is tied to the Prime Rate), the interest rate will not go below the minimum cap. Through the reward program, cardholders earn a rebate of 1% for purchases. The maximum amount of rebates that can be redeemed is $2,500 per vehicle and any unused rebates expire in 5 years. Rebates can also be used for payment of maintenance. | |
