| The Delta SkyMiles Gold Credit Card, issued by American Express, is designed for those who frequently travel using Delta Air Lines. Although the annual fee of $95 is not an attractive feature, it is reduced to $40 for those who already have an American Express Charge Card. The standard APR for purchases is about average for an airline reward card, though not ideal for those who plan to carry a revolving balance. There is also an introductory rate of 9.99% offered for balances transferred during the time of application, which applies for the life of the loan. | The credit card has a reasonable interest rate (lowest rates applied to balances equal to, or greater than $2,500), an attractive 0% introductory rate, and no annual fee. Individuals who have a banking account relationship with Chase will also be able to take advantage of a lower APR; 1% less than those who do not. However, the card does have a high APR for cash advances and there is a minimum cap applied to the APR. Through this program, cardholders earn one point per every dollar spent on general purchases. | |

There is also a very attractive introductory rate for six months on balance transfers. In addition, the annual fee of $35 is very reasonable for such a low interest rate credit card. | |
