| American Express Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card echo $br; ?> echo $logo_cl; ?>=$logo_fly;?> $crd_pid=2152; ?> | | The Delta SkyMiles Gold Credit Card, issued by American Express, is designed for those who frequently travel using Delta Air Lines. Although the annual fee of $95 is not an attractive feature, it is reduced to $40 for those who already have an American Express Charge Card. The standard APR for purchases is about average for an airline reward card, though not ideal for those who plan to carry a revolving balance. There is also an introductory rate of 9.99% offered for balances transferred during the time of application, which applies for the life of the loan. Card is currently unavailable to residents of Iowa and Puerto Rico. | | | Citibank Citi® Driver's Edge® Card for College Students echo $br; ?> echo $logo_cash;?> $crd_pid=2662; ?> | | This card offers no annual fee and a 0% introductory rate that applies to all transactions for six months (which is a rare benefit). Although it has a reasonable interest rate for a student card, there is a minimum cap of 20.24% for cash advances. So no matter how low the Prime Rate falls (the APR is tied to the Prime Rate), the interest rate will not go below the minimum cap. Through the reward program, cardholders earn a rebate of 1% for purchases. The maximum amount of rebates that can be redeemed is $2,500 per vehicle and any unused rebates expire in 5 years. Rebates can also be used for payment of maintenance. | | | American Express Blue Cash® from American Express echo $br_s; ?> echo $br; ?> echo $logo_cl; ?> echo $logo_cash; ?> $crd_pid=2151; ?> | | Through the rebate program, cardholders earn a cash award that varies according to the amount spent per year. Cardholders are awarded a 0.25% rebate for the first $2,000; 0.5% for amounts over $2,000 and up to $6,000; and 1.5% for purchases over $6,000 up to $50,000. An additional 0.5% rebate is added for any billing period in which the account carries a balance - so only those who spend up to $50,000 a year and carry a balance will be able to take advantage of the 2% cash back rebate. The introductory rate for purchases varies according to the applicants credit history, and will be 15 months, 12 months, or 6 months. | |
